The Importance Of Our Catholic Wedding

Long before we met each other, we first met God.

Through childhood prayers whispered before bed, Sunday mornings spent in church pews, moments of doubt, moments of gratitude, and countless blessings that often went unnoticed until much later, Christ was quietly writing a story that neither of us could yet understand. Looking back now, we see His fingerprints everywhere. In every closed door that redirected our path, every lesson that shaped our character, every challenge that strengthened our faith, and ultimately, in the extraordinary gift of finding one another.

Greg’s faith is not simply something he practices; it is the foundation upon which he has chosen to live his life. It is present in our conversations, our dreams, our values, and the way we strive to love one another each day. Through prayer, grace, and an unwavering belief that God places people in our lives for a purpose, our relationship blossomed into something far greater than either of us could have imagined.

The Vatican, the heart of the Catholic Church and a place that has welcomed pilgrims for centuries, feels like the natural place for us to begin this next chapter. Within those sacred walls, surrounded by the history, tradition, and faith that have guided generations before us, we will stand before God and proclaim our covenant to one another.

For us, this is more than a wedding day. It is the culmination of two faith journeys becoming one. It is a declaration that Christ will remain at the center of our marriage, our home, and our future family. It is an opportunity to deepen our relationship with God while celebrating the love He so generously placed in our hearts.
